Recipients

The Sarah L Gamble Foundation is looking for individuals who are community oriented and involved in their respective faith based churches. We value your involvement which demonstrates your care for others. Your involvement in your community displays that you are a change maker. The Sarah L. Gamble Foundation is looking for future leaders. Academics are important, but it is not the only criteria that we evaluate as a recipient of the scholarships. We want to invest in YOU, our future.

She attended Henry Barnard Elementary School located at RI College. She later attended Community Preparatory, Providence, RI. She has seen how Poverty and Discrimination can affect communities. She is majoring in Psychology and Education. She plans to pursue her Masters Degree.

Accepted at University of Rhode Island

He is majoring in Engineering and Business Administration. College is important because it will be a way to develop his brand so he can enlighten people to do better. He will be a role model to his peers.

The recipients will demonstrate a financial need and the following criteria: Faith and/or Community involvement.

Steps To Complete

To be considered for one of these scholarships you must:

  1. Return this application with your essay as described on the next page.
  2. Submit your High School transcript to the address listed on application.
  3. Recipient must be accepted at an accredited college or university.
  4. Recipient must have a GED or High School Diploma.
  5. Recipient must have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
  6. Recipient has shown an active role in the community and/or the church.
  7. Deadline for receipt of application must be mailed and postmarked by March 31 to the Sarah L. Gamble Foundation.
  8. Recipient must submit two separate references as stated below.
